The College of Engineering and Management (CoEM), Jalgaon was established in year 2001 by Khandesh College Education Society, Jalgaon which is one of the most prestigious and oldest education society in the Khandesh area with a vigorous past, a dynamic present, and brilliant future. Institute is located in the heart of Jalgaon city which has population of more than five Lakhs. The city is located on Central Railways on Howrah – Mumbai andDelhi – Mumbai route. It is equidistant from highly industrialised cities like Mumbai, Pune,Nagpur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Nashik, Aurangabad and Indore. The famous tourism destination, world heritage Ajanta is just 55 kms away from city. Jalgaon is also famous for banana and gold ornaments.
This institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra. It offers four UG programs in Engineering and Technology with annual intake of 360, Three PG programs in Management with annual intake of 210, and Four post S.S.C. diploma programs in Engineering and Technology with annual intake of 300. It is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological Univeristy (DBATU), Lonere (Engineering UG/PG Programs), Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (KBCNMU), Jalgaon (Management PG Programme – M.B.A.) and Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai (Diploma engineering programmes).
