Welcome to the department of Science and Humanities at Khandesh College Education Society's College of Engineering and Management, Jalgaon.
Applied sciences are a link between pure science and engineering practices. It aims to provide engineering students with an excellent foundation. The Department of Applied Sciences is one of the integral parts of the institute. The department offers multi-disciplinary courses in Chemistry, Advanced Engineering Materials, Environmental Science, Intellectual Property Rights, and Entrepreneurship Development. The department has well-equipped laboratories: the Chemistry Laboratory, the Language Laboratory, and the Physics Laboratory. These laboratories enable faculty and students to employ fundamental principles, create innovative solutions, which are then handed off to engineering disciplines to be refined, enhanced, and used to address important problems.
The department caters to the all-round development and academic needs of students by providing guidance and psychological counselling sessions, as well as language testing services. Apart from this, lectures and seminars are conducted on personality development, stress management, study skills, and life planning for students as well as faculty.
The department is dedicated to improving COEM's image through hard work and sincerity.
