The department, right from its inception in 2023 has been focusing on high-quality teaching along with integrated laboratory experience. The Discipline of Mechanical Engineering effectively connects teaching of engineering education to active research in different areas. The department has the most modern infrastructure to undertake high-end teaching, research and developmental activities in its eight laboratories.

As the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, it is both my privilege and responsibility to guide the department towards achieving excellence in education, research, and innovation. Our department is committed to providing a robust platform for students to explore, develop, and enhance their technical and analytical skills.

The world of mechanical engineering continues to evolve with advancements in automation, robotics, energy solutions, and manufacturing technologies. In line with these developments, we strive to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the future.
